Terms of Service
Welcome to Playhaus Arcade! By accessing or using our website, playing our games, or signing up for a custom Locker card, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. User Accounts
To unlock premium cosmetics and submit high scores to the global leaderboard, you must sign up for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration info.
- Maintain the security and secrecy of your account credentials.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breaches.
- Accept sole responsibility for all activity occurring under your username.
2. Intellectual Property
All platform software, graphic styles, interactive elements, custom card animations, and original games (including Higher or Lower, Word Rush, Toy Tanks, etc.) are the proprietary property of Playhaus Arcade and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.
3. Code of Conduct & Fair Play
We are dedicated to maintaining a fun, friendly, and competitive environment. You agree NOT to:
- Use automated scripts, bots, hacks, or cheats to manipulate game scores or gain coins/gems.
- Register offensive, vulgar, or impersonating usernames.
- Attempt to overload or attack the database servers hosting our leaderboards.
We reserve the right to ban accounts and wipe leaderboard scores that violate these fair play policies.
4. Virtual Cosmetics and Currency
Coins, Gems, and unlocked custom profile assets (avatar rings, slogans, background animations) are virtual assets for entertainment purposes only. They have zero cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for real-world currency.
5. In-App Purchases and Currency
Purchases of virtual Gems or other virtual items are conducted through the App Store native billing platform (managed via StoreKit and RevenueCat). All sales are final and governed by Apple's standard billing terms. Virtual items are credited to your account and are subject to the terms of service, with no cash refund value unless required by law.
6. Limitation of Liability
Playhaus Arcade is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties of any kind regarding server uptime, data persistence, or complete bug-free operations. We are not liable for any lost progress, score sync errors, or system issues.
